Rudi already had his own dogs in Germany, first Sibirians than switching to Alaskans running them in Skandinavia´s race circuit. SInce 2004 he is running dogs in the Yukon and Alaska keeping his own dogs with Sebastian. After a good first season of 06-07 with nice finishes in the Sheep Mountain, Knik 200 and Copper Basin he will be back in 07-08 to realize his goal of running his rookie Iditarod. In his daily live he runs a car dealership in Salzkotten Germany.
