Almost back on track
After
my little stunt almost 2 weeks ago my bones are healing fast and
I get back into training. The first days were pretty painful and
I could really not do much other than rest, for the ones who know
my, they know how hard that is. Last Weekend Marin from Haines Junction
came over to help train, and him and Jocelyne took out the teams
for 3 days. A visit with Thomas Tetz also calmed me down a bit,
with him reassuring that some time "off" for the dogs
at this time of the year is not bad at all. He also gave me many
interesting tips..... travel light still rings in my ear......
he really does.
In
the meantime I got enough movement back into the shoulder that I
will take a team out tomorrow with Mikes help.... no not up the
Sifton Range, rather some flat easy trail. Mike by the way finally
took a team out himself yesterday, after almost 5 years of handling.....
, quite a surprise.
In Watson Lake it is snowing already, so of course we are very tempted
to move there. On Monday Christine and Casey come back and things
should be getting into a routine again.
