After 40 Kilometern by a birch forest the Musher meets the Chain Lakes. This is a chain of lakes, which is about 65 kilometers long. After another 25 kilometers they come to Braeburn, the last checkpoint. Here all teams must have a 8 hours break, for the protection of the animals.
