Checkpoint Braeburn
That only recently proclaimed as official checkpoint, is at the Trans Canada Trail system and the Klondike Highway – Mile 55. In the neighbouring Braeburn Lake, which is 2.5 km long, you can fish well, also is the area admits for its white head sea-eagles. Many routes to the old “Goldcitys” Skagway, Dawson or Carmacks begin in this central place. In the Braeburn Lodge, the supply point for the Quest is, it gives also the famous and oversize Zimtbuns.
