Rudi already had his own dogs in Germany, first Sibirians then changed to Alaskans running them in Skandinavias race circuit. SInce 2004 he is running dogs in the Yukon and Alaska keeping his own dogs with Sebastian. After a good first season of 06/07 with nice finishes in the Sheep Mountain, Knik 200 and Copper Basin, he will be back in 07/08 to realize his goal of running his rookie Iditarod. In his daily live he runs a car-dealership in Salzkotten Germany. Rudi finished Iditarod 2008 in 43rd position with 13 dogs.
