Andrew Davies was born in England but moved to Canada in 1980. Since then he has also lived in Boston but for the last 17 years has called the New York area his home. He now lives in the beautiful Ramapo Valley of northern New Jersey with his wife Christine and dog Cassie.He started mushing in 2004 in the Yukon and since then has been on mushing expeditions in Northern Minnesota and inside the Arctic Circle in the Brooks Range of Alaska. In March 2007 he ran his first race placing second in the PercyDeWolfe100 between Eagle, Alaska and Dawson City, Yukon. He will run the GinGin200 and Knik200 with Blue Kennels this year, and who knows where this will lead to!
