Andreas Moser, born the 06.04.1962 in Stuttgart/Germany lives in Switzerland since 1987. Since his childhood he was afraid of dogs, but then he books a dogsleddingtour in Finland. In the beginning he is glad to have the sled between him and the dogs but after a week the "husky virus" gets him.

In 2001 he visits Blue Kennels and completes a 100-miles stagingrace - the Silver Sled. Now he is not only infected of the husky virus but also of the racing virus and so he gets back to the Yukon the next winter to participate at a "real" mid-distance race with checkpoints and without any help during the race - the Copper Basin 300.
The dream of driving longer races seems to be over because the requirements are a lot higher than he imagined. But looking at it in an objective way and designing and updating this website let the husky racing virus inflame again and so he'll try to realize his dream of participating the "Yukon Quest" in 2008.
