Ready lets go.
While I write these lines it is already past midnight once more, so I keep is short. I had to overcome quite a few hurdles in the past weeks, but now I get more confident that I will be at the starting line next week on Feb the 13th, many thanks to all the people who put in the extra effort to make this seem possible.
Tomorrow I will go on one last training run with a string of 18 dogs. We have great snow by now, where it is possible to drive such a large string. I will have one more close look on all Quest Candiates. All the dogs have to go on "tour" during the week before the Quest, so the final 14 I will be picking the Saturday before the race, depending on their, weight, attitude and of course condition of their feet. In the rooster is mainly my "older" gang: Tang, Chevy, Coon, Marmot, Libby, Neuro, Paws, Ginger, Wondar, Piano, Gas, Brownie, Franky, Austin, Eagle, Circle, Herring, Otto.Rudi
