Libby
Libby (F), born in 1999 as a single pup. She is just a happy girl, always upbeat and very easy to maintain in harness. Unfortunaley last Quest she got a sore foot right in Mile 101 on some sharp piece of ice. I almost dropped her but opted to work with it and finally nearing Eagle the swelling went down and Libby proudly finshed the race. The little girl defenitely showed some determination. She spend most of the summer home. Update fall 08.Libby went on to finish 4 Quests and 3 Iditarods with me. In the spring of 08, one week before Iditarod, I put her back into my team, and sure enough she once again saw the burled Arch 10 days later, in 10th place, not bad for an old girl like her. Now she is training puppies at home
