Battier
Battier is a yearling I bought from Lance Mackey this past summer. He will not run in any of the main strings and run with Rich Savoyski who will take the Puppy team into the Iditarod. The Puppy Team will also run all preparation races like the Sheep Mountain, Knik and Copper Basin, but on a much slower schedule with longer rests and shorter runs. The goal is not to get to Nome as fast as possible with those dogs, but for them to have a positive experience and to show the trail to them for future Iditarods. Sold
