Free was born in my yard in the summer of 2001. Unfortunately he always has been a very standoffish dog, picking a fight where ever possible. I got neutered this spring and has mellowed him out a bit.... but only a bit. With people he is super sweet in nature. He runs well, very nice gait and eats like an alligator, all things which are great for distance mushing. Time will tell, if he can learn to sleep on the gangline without eating the dogs around him. I never really had an eye on him for my race team and he was just a fill in, but his performance is so good, that I decided to give him a chance.
