Herring
Herring (M). Born in 1999 out of Ginger and Brownie, only has a short coat and is a giant in my team with 65 lbs. He runs usually besides Otto also large with 60 lbs. In the Yard he is often a picky eater but that changes in racing. Other than some rubs on his dewcalws (now taken off) he had no problems in the Quest and surprised me a lot. With 6 years he is in a good age, he ran all summer on the glacier. Update Fall 08. Herring has finished all 8 Thousand milers with me, an incredible dog. Retired in Germany with Dr Norbert Guldner
